My name is Alyssa, I’m a doctor physical therapy and osteoarthritis specialist with Keep the Adventure Alive. This channel is on a mission to show you adventure is possible with osteoarthritis. Movement isn't something to fear and it can be extremely powerful in reducing joint pain, stiffness and instability. The key is finding the right movements that don't flare up your pain. Surgery isn't inevitable and you have options besides more medications, injections and procedures.

I've been eating more vegetables, particularly more greens......and it tamed my inflammation wonderfully. I can get up from a chair more easier and walk farther in long distances. Thank you for providing this great video, Alyssa!

Sadly, blueberries are very expensive in Australia and seasonal. I avoid most fish products and any supplements made from fish oil, eg krill oil due to the damage commercial fishing does to our oceans and its inhabitants. Unfortunately greedy businesses will Plunder anything they see as a source of profit. Whales will be driven to starvation by overfishing of krill stocks. The best I can do is avoid those foods which are harmful.
Both of you are terrific. Glad to see you working together. Love your content. How do squats fit in? I have had great success using split squats to eliminate, at times, pretty bad knee pain. I can even play basketball at full speed without pain. I also do some air squats and wall squats, but the split squats have helped the most and quickly.
